GDS Job Profile

1. Branch Postmaster (BPM)

2. Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)

1. Age Limit (as on 3rd March 2025)

  • Minimum: 18 years

  • Maximum: 40 years (Relaxations apply for reserved categories)

2. Educational Qualification

  • 10th Pass with Mathematics and English from a recognized board

  • Knowledge of the local language (studied at least till 10th standard)

3. Additional Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Ability to ride a bicycle or two-wheeler

  • Adequate means of livelihood (for BPM candidates, providing accommodation for post office is required)
