UIDAI Notification: ECMP v3.3.4.2.192-2 Released to Alpha – New Features and Fixes

     The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced the release of ECMP v3.3.4.2.192-2 to Alpha. This latest update brings significant enhancements and fixes to streamline the Aadhaar enrolment and update processes.

Key Features & Fixes in ECMP v3.3.4.2.192-2

ECMP Updates

  1. NRI Enrolment Support – Implementation of House of Family (HOF)-based enrolment for NRI minors and adults.
  2. Pop-up Alerts for HOF Enrolment – Operators will receive a message prompting them to enter the same address as mentioned in Aadhaar for HOF-based enrolment or updates.
  3. Auth 2.5 Integration – Improved authentication mechanisms, including Operator Sync, Disclosure, Aadhaar verification, and FIR/FMR liveness checks.
  4. Document Upload Changes – The "Attach" button has been removed/disabled in the document upload section. Instead, scanning is now the only way to upload documents.
  5. Acknowledgement Slip Updates – Changes made for smoother update enrolment slips.
  6. IRIS Device Usage Update – Now, only dual IRIS devices are allowed, while single IRIS device usage is disabled.



 

Universal Client Enhancements

  1. Improved Consent Token Handling – In case of an update failure, if demographic fetch fails but consent is valid, operators do not need to provide consent again.
  2. Bug Fix for Nepal & Bhutan Passport Expiry Date – Fixes issues related to incorrect date handling.
  3. Document List Refresh Button – If the client fails to fetch document lists, a refresh button is now available to reload the list.
  4. Operator Token Expiry Fix – The operator token will not expire unless the operator manually logs out.
