Submit applications online via the official Employee Portal:
Before applying, ensure your Employee Profile (PIS & MDM) is accurate: Employee Profile View & Raise Request → View employee profile. Application fields are auto-fetched from PIS & MDM.
Eligibility (as per Recruitment Rules dated 05.02.2019)
The crucial date for age and service calculation for vacancy year 2025 is 01.01.2025.
Service Eligibility
Officials must have completed 8 years of regular qualifying service as on 01.01.2025. Eligible grades include:
- Higher Selection Grade-II (Level-6)
- Postmaster Grade-II (Level-6)
- Stenographer Grade-I (Level-6)
- Lower Selection Grade (Level-5)
- Postmaster Grade-I (Level-5)
- Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant (Level-4)
- Stenographer Grade-II (Level-4)
Age Limit
Maximum age: 45 years as on 01.01.2025. Standard age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection will be based on an All-India common merit list. Candidates must provide their order of preference for all 23 Postal Circles at the time of application — preferences once submitted are final.
Examination Venue & Syllabus
