The Payroll Management System has received two important updates – Version 7.21 (19/09/2025) and Version 7.20 (18/09/2025). These updates bring new features, improvements, and enhanced control for DDOs, Circle Offices, and Payroll Managers. Let’s explore the details below:
🔹 Version 7.21 (Released on 19th September 2025)
✔ Last Installment Amount Entry – Now you can enter the last installment amount while initiating new recovery, even if it differs from the monthly installment for balance and recovery. Component data can also be checked after approval.
✔ Enhanced Substitute Payment Page – Additional filters for Status and Arrangement ID introduced. Office ID search is also available.
✔ Paybill & Pension Bill Cancellation Control –

After approval, cancellations are now managed by the concerned Circle.

Circle office users must mark for cancellation in the Payroll Management Card.

DDOs can still cancel approved Paybills.

Even after cancellation from Circle, Paybills can be disbursed/requested for CQ by DDO.
✔ Payroll Month Management – Generation, confirmation, and validity of payroll months is now controlled by the concerned Circle via Payroll Management Card.
🔹 Version 7.20 (Released on 18th September 2025)
✔ New Payroll Management Page – A fresh page is added to configure payroll month settings.
✔ Pending Request Dashboard Improved – Easier tracking of requests.
✔ DR Admissibility for Pensioners – Can now be configured in Exit Management. Option to mark “No” if DR is not to be drawn.
✔ Court Attachment Feature – Enabled for Pensioners from the Initiate Recovery Page.
✔ Editable Pay Components – Valid To Date of pay components can now be modified.
✔ Officiating Pay for GDS – Drawl on Department Posts is now dependent on LWA.
✔ Pay Summary for GDS – Displays arrangement-wise officiating pay drawl and deductions.
✔ NPS, UPS, and SDBS Configurations – Additional provision made for regular contribution.
✔ One-Click Update – Update employee components and pay validity with a single click from DDO during Voluntary/Superannuation cases.
